why i will never work at the park slope food co-op
E.L. had to work the register at the Park Slope Food Co-Op this morning. A woman came in her line decided that she didn't want her items scanned because of the potential radiation her food might be exposed to while sliding across the laser scanner. E.L. had to type in the barcode of each item by hand.
Worse, the woman insisted on reading them off to her.
