WTO MOV? WTF!?!
"Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron is attached to star in Battle In Seattle, according to Production Weekly. Theron's long term boyfriend, Stuart Townsend, wrote the screenplay and will be making his directorial debut on the project.
Set in 1999, during the World Trade Organization meeting in Seattle, an eclectic group of demonstrators, include environmental activists, doctors, anarchists, attorneys, eco-terrorists and just plain folks, brings the city to a state of near-chaos, and chases the WTO straight out of town."
On the one hand the description makes this sound like Syriana meets the Dukes of Hazzard. On the other hand, nothing propels our actions into myth like big screen docudrama. Its very production is a nomination for pop culture sainthood.
