Portable Video Workshop Short Video Festival @ USC 11/21/2005
We started off Monday's Portable Video Workshop with a short festival of short video.
While some of the video people will watch on their portable devices will be video that they either make or own themselves (QuickTime, WMV, DVD or PVR transfers to PSP, PVP, or iPod Video) they will also search for media online - media already formatted for the devices they have, saving them the lengthy process of transcoding.
This screening will give us a partial survey of the kinds of video being shared online -- the types of video that may one day be the kinds of video we download to portable video devices directly.
