All hope lie in the phones...

I was walking home from the subway late last night when I saw four guys standing at a corner, huddled under a streetlamp. They were hunched over, surrounding another guy as someone spoke in a whisper. As I got closer, I saw a glow and realized they were staring at a small LCD display. The whisper had come from a cellphone. They were watching a video clip.

"So he records video with his camcorderphone and sends it to me. And then I can email that shit out again to, like, whoever I want."

"Yo, that shit is hot."

And I smiled.
