Party on the Q Train
Just remember: it's an exercise in reclaiming public space. Tricia and I slapped together a short video from Gabe's Q Train party this weekend (all that video came from a lil' ol Canon S230 - no lie!) Everyone seemed to have a good time except the young couple that decided to sit right in the middle of the car, all the way out to Brighton Beach (best line: T responds when the girl tries to pick a fight with her, "I'm not going to call you a bitch.") Good thing is - everyone else had fun. And there was a hell of a lot of Everyone Else this time around. Gabe got himself a NYT writeup for the last one (3 train) which turned into a capacity crowd on the Q. So we danced, we sipped, and had an all around good time. I just wish all of my commutes were like this.

The video came out great. Too bad I left before the footage (and music) started. All I got was a krispy kreme and some punch-like beverage.
